Though I haven't been on here in a while, I have still been buying things. Not left and right as usual, as I dislike these price hikes, but I've been buying. I remade a whole separate blog on reviewing things, but after some thought, I felt bad for abandoning this site. Maybe I'll reserve it for other reviews, like electronics or just a blog in general. I've been more into electronic stuff recently, more so, music based things like headphones or even the music itself. I hope to keep updating this site with figure reviews, but sometimes school gets in the way and that will have to be first on the priority list.

Well, it turns out that YouTube videos aren't my thing. I posted one video of an unboxing, and that was it. I got views, but no comments, but that's quite alright.
Recently, I've been getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh, but of course, still making minor toy purchases. Toys are expensive these days. Just recently, I went to Walmart and saw the new TF:Prime figures are closing in on $15. These aren't big figures either, and to say the least, they are really simplified transformations. This is exactly the reason why I stick to Ross and even the clearance section, given the store has one. School caught up with me, and I found a different importance in life...but now I'm on break...I am back for a couple months.
In the mail, I have a Sinanju Action Base 1 and a Revoltech Fraulein Hoshii Miki from Amazon. Should receive them sometime next week, but both are a first for me. Last December I finally got a 1/100 MG Sinanju despite it being a TT Hongli knockoff (which I don't mind or care as long as it saves me money). It's a nice kit overall and I can only think the quality is better in the Bandai version. For the Revoltech Hoshii Miki, I was always wondering what the hype was about with the Revoltech joints. The Fraulein line is kinda older and not as articulated, but it's whatever for a first figure. I've been also thinking about doing video reviews. I'm not sure how to go about setting up, but we'll see how things go. Until next time... WWE Entrance Greats Shawn Michaels (Wrestlemania 12)- Ross- $7.99
Probably the greatest wrestling figure I will ever own. Always was and always will be a Shawn Michaels fan, and this figure is just too good. Bakugan Zenthon Titan- Target $4.48
Bakugan Venexus Titan- Target $4.48 2x Bakugan Bakusurge- Target $3.74 each Generations Warpath- Target Macbook Pro i7- Apple Store Just some hauls I gathered over last week and this week. All of them are great additions. Deadliest Warrior: Legends- Xbox Live Arcade
After getting into Deadliest Warrior, I saw some commercials about their new game. Downloaded the demo, had fun, then bought the game for 800 mp. Looking for some cheap KO Gundam Kits at a reduced price from the original kits? Look no further, SlickGate has the stuff! Not only do they have Gundam kits but also technological needs and accessories for your iPod, phones, and game consoles.
I don't want to hear the KO and Official Gundam argument here. It's all opinions. People might want quality to go with there Gundams while paying that little extra. Some people just want to enjoy the hobby for its purpose of building a super cool looking robot to display. Again, it's all opinions, and seeing reviews, the KO Gundam aren't that bad, only the militia of strict official Gundam purchasers make it sound a whole lot worse than it is. But for SlickGate, they have relatively cheap prices as well as free shipping with an estimated shipping time of two weeks from China. Not bad at all, give a new store a chance and perhaps you will be pleased with the experience. I different approach to what I usually collect...I bought the Deluxe Tron figures. These are usually at Ross, from what I have seen for a couple months. Even there, not a lot of people are biting. Might as well get the Ultimate figures too. I got the Black Guard at Target, also on clearance...everything is a bargain, especially when these originally cost $15 each.
Deluxe Sam Flynn- Ross Deluxe C.L.U.- Ross Deluxe Rinzler- Ross Deluxe Black Guard- Target Best figure from the set? By sculpt, Black Guard. Accessories? Rinzler comes with the most. Sam and C.L.U. have that "holographic" face and voice features. All of them have a light up chest feature. New Era Fitted 59 Fifty Hat Bane- eBay
I Am Legend Special Edition- Ross Troy Director's Cut- Ross First "designers" hat and I'm liking it. I Am Legend is a pretty cool movie. I thought it would be scary, but it's scary but not scary enough for me to look down, good stuff! I have yet to watch Troy...school is creeping up on me... |
